World Homelessness Day: 10^th October 2024

World Homelessness Day is observed internationally on the 10^th October every year.  One of the aims of recognising this day is to raise awareness of the ongoing support and funding required for people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 

This day serves as a reminder of the need for collective action, empathy and support.  World Homelessness Day acknowledges that homelessness is not just a local issue, also impacting individuals, families and communities across the world.   

Across Shelter, we provide a place of safety, support and a way forward for our Island’s homeless community.
